FOR EVERYONE, THAT’S THE AIM
Last updated 19 October 2026
My aim
I want everyone to be able to use this site. I build it to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What’s in place
- You can use every page with a keyboard alone, and a “Skip to content” link is the first thing you reach.
- Your place on the page is always visible when you tab through it.
- Every form field has a label, and errors are described in words.
- Animations switch off if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Images that carry meaning have a text description.
How it’s checked
I test each page with an automated checker (axe) in both the desktop and the phone layout, and by hand with a keyboard. I have not tested with a screen reader.
Known gaps
Films will have captions when they are added. Automated tools can’t judge everything, so some problems may remain, such as the readability of text laid over photos.
Tell me about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, email me at omar19hamed@gmail.com with the page and what went wrong. I aim to answer within two working days and to fix it as soon as I can.
