Who I am

This site is run by Omar Mohamed Hamed (known as Omar Hamed), a video editor based in Egypt. I decide what is done with the details you send me. You can reach me at omar19hamed@gmail.com.

What the form collects

When you send an enquiry, the form collects your name, your email address, the channel links you add, your goal (what you want to achieve) and your rough budget. Nothing else is asked for.

Along with it, the services below receive technical details that every website visit involves, such as your IP address and browser type.

Why, and on what basis

Only to reply to your enquiry and talk about working together. I never add you to a mailing list and never send newsletters.

If the data protection law of your country (such as the EU or UK GDPR) applies to you, my basis is that you asked me to get in touch before any agreement is made, and my legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and keeping spam out.

Who handles it

The form is delivered by Formspree, which passes your enquiry to my Gmail inbox. Formspree and Google handle it on my behalf, under their own privacy policies.

To keep out spam, the contact page runs Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people from bots. It loads from Cloudflare on that page only and shares technical details with Cloudflare, such as your IP address and browser type, under Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy policy.

The site is hosted by Hostinger, whose servers keep ordinary access logs (such as your IP address and the pages requested).

These services may process data outside Egypt, including in the United States.

How long I keep it

I delete enquiries I haven’t answered after 12 months from my inbox. Formspree, which delivers the contact form to me, keeps a copy of each submission for 30 days on my plan. If we work together, I keep our messages for as long as the project and my business records need them.

Your rights

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or object to how I use it. Email me at omar19hamed@gmail.com and I’ll answer within 30 days. If I delete it, I delete it from my inbox, and Formspree’s copy expires on its own after 30 days. If you think I’ve handled your details wrongly, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies and storage

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or trackers. On the contact page only, Cloudflare Turnstile saves two small items in your browser’s local storage to run its check. No other page stores anything.

A film loads from its video host only when you press play, and that host may then set its own cookies or store data.

Links to other sites

The links to LinkedIn and film hosts lead to sites with their own privacy rules, which I don’t control.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and isn’t directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
